Terms & Conditions

1. Us. As Prescribed is a trading name of AS PRESCRIBED LTD, company, registered address 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Email hello@asprescribed.co.uk.
2. What we are, and what we are not. We sell vaporisers, grinders, storage and related accessories. That is the whole of our business.
We are not a pharmacy. We are not registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and we do not dispense medicines. We are not a clinic or a healthcare provider. We are not registered with the Care Quality Commission and we do not employ clinicians. We are not a prescriber. We cannot issue, alter, renew or advise on a prescription.
We do not sell, supply, handle or hold cannabis or any other medicine, and we hold no Home Office licence to do so. We have no access to your prescription, your clinic or your pharmacy records, and we are not affiliated with any clinic or pharmacy.
Everything on this website — product descriptions, guides, blog articles, answers to questions — is general information, not medical advice. It is written for a general readership of people who already hold a prescription. It is not tailored to you, it takes no account of your condition, your other medicines or your circumstances, and it should never be used to decide what to take, how much, or how often. It describes equipment, not treatment.
Please read things for yourself and check them. Read the manufacturer's instructions that come with your device, and the patient information supplied with your medication, and follow those in preference to anything we have written. Where we describe how something works, satisfy yourself that it applies to your device and your situation. And for anything at all about your medication, your dose, or your condition, speak to your prescribing clinician or your dispensing pharmacy — they know your case and we do not.
You are an adult and the decision is yours. We set out what we know about the equipment so that you can weigh it up, check it against your own sources, and choose what suits you.
Where we describe how a device works, or what temperature ranges it offers, we are describing the device. We make no claim that any product treats, prevents or alleviates any medical condition.
3. Who these products are for. The devices and accessories we sell are intended for adults in the UK who hold a valid prescription for medical cannabis. That is the customer we have built this shop for, and it is who our product selection, our guides and our advice on suitability are written for.
We do not check whether you hold a prescription, and we cannot. We have no access to prescription records and no way to verify one. We do not ask you to declare your prescription status, and we deliberately do not collect any information about your health, your condition or your treatment.
That places the responsibility on you. By ordering, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that your purchase and your intended use of these products are lawful where you are. Vaporisers, grinders and storage containers are not themselves controlled items and are lawful to own — but using them with a controlled substance you have not been lawfully prescribed is not, and that is your responsibility, not ours. We sell equipment in good faith on the basis of what you tell us.
4. Buying from us. You must be 18 or over. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we email to confirm dispatch. If we cannot supply an item we will tell you and refund you in full.
5. Prices and payment. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. We take payment when you order.
6. Delivery. Estimated timescales are shown at checkout. All orders are sent in plain packaging with no indication of the contents.
7. Cancelling and returning. You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and return the goods within 14 days of telling us, for a full refund including standard outbound delivery. Items must be unused and sealed items unopened. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of opened mouthpieces or other items that come into contact with the mouth. This does not affect your separate legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose — including the 30-day right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Full detail is on our Returns page.
8. Manufacturer warranties. Some products carry a manufacturer's warranty, and where they do we state it on the product page. That warranty is a separate agreement between you and the manufacturer, on the manufacturer's terms. We are not a party to it, we do not administer it, and we do not make or manage claims on your behalf — those go direct to the manufacturer, whose contact details are in the packaging.
This does not affect your rights against us. If an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have rights against us as the retailer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Putting that right is our responsibility, not the manufacturer's. You may also have rights against the manufacturer under its guarantee, depending on its terms, and it is your choice which of the two you use — but a manufacturer's guarantee is in addition to your rights against us and never replaces or limits them. See clause 7 and our Returns page.
9. Our liability. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for business losses. We are not responsible for damage or loss caused by a product being used contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, modified or repaired by anyone unauthorised, or used with non-genuine parts. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, and we do not limit our liability where the law does not allow us to.
10. Using the site. The content, images and text on this website belong to us. Please do not copy or reuse them without asking.
11. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
