Who we are. As Prescribed (asprescribed.co.uk) is operated by AS PRESCRIBED LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, registered address 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. We are the data controller for the information described here. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us at hello@asprescribed.co.uk.
What we collect. When you order: your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and your order history. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us. When you browse: standard analytics — pages viewed, device type, approximate location. If you sign up for emails: your email address.
We do not ask for, or knowingly hold, any information about your health, your prescription, or your medical condition. We sell equipment. Please do not send us clinical details.
Why we use it. To take payment and deliver your order, and to handle returns and warranty claims — this is necessary to perform our contract with you. To keep proper business and tax records — a legal obligation. To improve the website and, where you have agreed, to send you marketing — our legitimate interests and your consent. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Who else sees it. Our website and shop platform; our payment provide; our delivery carriers; our email provider; and our accountant. Each acts on our instructions. Some are based outside the UK, and where that is the case the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it. Order and transaction records for six years, as tax law requires. Marketing contacts until you unsubscribe.
Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies. We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, and — only if you agree — cookies for analytics and marketing. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
Changes. If we change this notice we will update the date above.
