Who this is for: M7 owners who already have, or are buying, the Hyper Tip. It is no use to anyone else.
The cap is the metal cover that goes over the chamber and takes the flame. On a DynaVap the cap and the chamber are a matched pair, and this pair is the larger Hyper set — a bigger chamber and more airflow, for a longer draw rather than a short one.
This cap only fits the Hyper Tip, and the Hyper Tip is a separate purchase. DynaVap put it in capitals on both pages: “THE HYPER CAP ONLY WORKS ON THE HYPER TIP” and “THE HYPER TIP ONLY WORKS ON THE HYPER CAP OR THERMAL HYPER CAP”. So this cap is one of two that will do the job — the Thermal Hyper Cap is the other. Buying this cap without the tip leaves you with a part you cannot use.
Where the cap meets the tip there is an adjustable gap, which is how you change the draw resistance.
The G3 has no separate tip at all, so no Hyper part fits it.
