A titanium cap for the Hyper Tip with a core of small sapphire balls, which heat the air rather than the chamber wall.
Key facts
Titanium, with a removable core holding roughly 150 sapphire balls of 2 mm
⚠️ Fits the Hyper Tip ONLY — not standard DynaVap tips
Clicks to signal temperature
The core lifts out, so the heating media can be changed
Fits the DynaVap M7 when the Hyper Tip is fitted. Not the G3
Full description
Who this is for: M7 owners already running the Hyper Tip who want the air itself heated rather than the chamber walls.
The cap is the metal cover you put the flame on. DynaVap explain the difference: "standard DynaVap conduction heating relies on direct contact between the heat source and the material", while here "convection heating uses hot air from the ball media flowing over the material". You heat the balls, and the air you draw is heated as it passes through them.
As with the plain Hyper Cap, this fits the Hyper Tip and nothing else — DynaVap: “THE HYPER TIP ONLY WORKS ON THE HYPER CAP OR THERMAL HYPER CAP”. Either cap will do; the difference is the heating method. The Hyper Tip is a separate purchase and nothing here works without it.
DynaVap: "We recommend the IGNYT Torch or something of similar power to heat this Cap." The core lifts out so the balls can be cleaned or swapped.
