Key facts
- The cartridge drops inside the body, out of harm's way
- Four settings: 2.4V, 2.8V, 3.2V and 3.6V
- 550mAh battery
- USB-C charging — the cable is in the box
- No preheat
Full description
Who this is for: someone who carries their cartridge about and wants it protected, in a smooth, pebble-shaped case.
A 510 battery is the power source. Your cartridge comes from the pharmacy with the medicine and the heating element already inside it — it has no power of its own. On the Compass the cartridge screws onto a 510 connection inside the case, and Vessel say it swivels so you can line the mouthpiece up.
Settings. Vessel give four: 2.4V (green), 2.8V (cyan), 3.2V (yellow) and 3.6V (magenta). Your dispensing pharmacy can tell you the highest your cartridge should run at.
No preheat. Vessel say preheat is only on the newer Compass Rise, which is a different model.
Size and fit. Vessel say the Compass "Fits most 510 thread cartridges" and give no maximum width for it. Their compatibility page gives 10.8mm across for their first-generation batteries and 11.5mm for the second. CCELL's own 0.5ml and 1ml cartridges are 10.5mm across. The device weighs 70g (Vessel).
Not sure your cartridge is a 510, or how wide it is? Our 510 batteries guide explains — or email us and we'll help you work it out.
