Who this is for: Arizer owners who already use the aroma dish and want a spare, or whose dish has chipped on the rim.
The dish is an alternative to the glass stem. It holds a shallow amount rather than a packed tube, and it warms in the chamber the same way.
Rim chips are the usual reason for replacing one. A chipped rim does not seat flush, and a dish that does not seat flush does not heat evenly.
It is glass, and it is the cheapest glass part Arizer make, so a spare in the drawer costs very little.
