A screen is the mesh that keeps material out of the airway while letting air through. An Arizer desktop uses two kinds, in two places: circular ones sit in the cyclone bowl — the glass bowl your material goes in — and domed ones sit in the elbow adapter, the angled glass joint above it.
They clog at different rates, and it is easy to replace one and forget the other. That is why the mixed pack is usually the sensible buy.
