Light is the single largest factor in how quickly dried cannabis degrades — a 1976 study still cited today called it "the greatest single factor", and found temperature under 20°C made almost no difference by comparison. Air exposure comes next. So a sealed jar kept in the dark does more to protect what you have been prescribed than almost anything else at this price.
Borosilicate glass is inert, does not hold smell, and cleans properly.
