Who this is for: XQ2 and Extreme Q owners who want to sit further from the unit than a 3 ft whip allows, and anyone whose tubing has gone cloudy or stiff.
Tubing is a consumable. It clouds, it stiffens, and eventually it stops gripping the glass at either end. None of that is a fault in the machine.
Silicone rather than PVC is the softer, more flexible of the two, and our supplier describes it as food-grade. It is the more comfortable choice to handle; it is also the one that picks up more residue on the inside wall, so plan on cleaning or replacing it rather than either.
Nine feet is a lot of hose. The practical point is reach: the unit stays where it is safest — on a solid surface, not on a lap.
Glass ends are not included. If yours are broken or brown, add the elbow and the whip mouthpiece.
