Who this is for: Arizer portable owners who already have a water pipe and do not want to measure the joint first.
Water pipes come in three common joint sizes and they are not interchangeable. Buying the wrong one is the usual outcome of guessing. This adapter is stepped so it fits all three, which removes the question.
As with the bubbler, water cools the vapour and softens the draw. It adds cleaning rather than removing it.
Glass on glass: seat it gently and do not force it.
