Who this is for: DynaVap owners. A DynaVap gets hot enough to burn, and this is where it goes while it stops being hot.

DynaVap describe it as "a convenient place to put your vaporizer during cool down, or easily remove a hot Cap, with the magnet" — and the magnet does two things: it lifts the cap off without you handling it, and it draws heat out, so cooling is quicker. If grip or sensation in your hands is a consideration, that is not a convenience feature.
There is herb storage inside, so the device and what goes in it travel together.
Discretion is the other part: it reads as a wooden box and nothing else. DynaVap say only that it is made from sustainably sourced wood, and do not name the species. Because it is real timber the grain and colour vary, so yours will not look exactly like the photograph.
