Who this is for: M7 and G3 owners who have lost their cap, or whose cap has stopped fitting firmly.
The cap is what makes a DynaVap work without electronics. It holds a small metal disc that snaps as it heats, making an audible click, and that click tells you to stop heating. A second click on the way down tells you it is ready to draw.
The click is the whole timing mechanism. A cap that has gone loose, or that clicks twice, is not doing its job.
If the fit has gone slack, our supplier suggests squeezing the cap gently to tighten it before replacing it.
