The hardware matches the standard Mighty+. What differs is the regulatory route: the Medic version is assessed as a medical device, which is about how it was made, documented and tested — not a claim about what it will do for you.
Heating is hybrid, combining convection and conduction, with a ceramic-coated oven. Temperature is set by the degree from 40°C to 210°C, and Storz & Bickel's own guidance is to start at 180°C and climb roughly five degrees at a time as the vapour thins.
It accepts dosing capsules — small metal cups you fill at home and drop into the chamber — which let you prepare a fill in advance — useful if handling loose material is awkward, and useful for consistency between sessions.
