A PAX oven is a sealed box with corners, and a brush does not reach into them. A swab does. These are sized for the oven, the mouthpiece and the vapour path, and they are single-use, so you are not reintroducing what you removed last time.
Seventy-five is roughly a year of cleaning after every few sessions, which is why it is the sensible way to buy them.
Use them dry for loose debris, or slightly damp with isopropyl for residue that has baked on. Check PAX's instructions for your model before wetting anything — PAX are explicit that some parts must never be submerged, and their guidance is not identical across the range.
