Who this is for: anyone who does not want to fill a whole chamber, and anyone whose material is not lasting as long as it should.
A vaporiser chamber has to be reasonably full to work properly. Air needs to pass through packed material rather than round a loose pile, so a half-filled full-size chamber does not simply use half as much — it works badly and wastes what is in it.
The half-pack lid solves that by making the chamber smaller. It raises the floor so a smaller amount packs to the right density, and you get a proper session out of it.
If you find the full chamber more than you want in one go, this is the part that fixes it. It does not change how the device heats or what temperature it runs at — only how much goes in.
PAX are specific about this one: "Compatible with PAX 2, PAX 3, PAX MINI (Gen 2) and PAX Plus. Not compatible with PAX 1 or PAX Mini (Gen 1)." The PAX MINI we sell is the Gen 2, so this is the right lid for it.
