PAX Rounded Multi-Tool

£13.50

Official PAX tool for packing and clearing the oven, on a keyring.

Key facts

  • Packs the chamber and scrapes it out
  • Curved end shaped to the oven, so it will not gouge it
  • Comes on a keyring
  • PAX say it is compatible with all PAX devices, and that it was redesigned for the Mini and the Plus

Full description

Who this is for: anyone currently using a teaspoon handle or a paperclip.

Two jobs need doing on any conduction vaporiser and both are awkward with fingers. Material has to be pressed down evenly, because loose packing lets air find a channel and go round rather than through. And spent material has to come out, because it sticks.

The curve on the end of this tool matches the shape of the PAX oven, so it reaches the bottom edge without scraping across the base. That matters more than it sounds — the oven floor is where the heat comes from, and improvised tools scratch it.

It lives on a keyring, which is the difference between owning one and knowing roughly where it is.

Specifications

  • PAX say: "Compatible with all PAX devices"
  • Supplied on a keyring
