Keeping everything in one big jar means opening it every day, and every opening swaps the air inside for room air. Keeping a week or so in a small jar and the rest sealed in a larger one means the bulk of it is only opened occasionally.
Aluminium rather than glass, so light does not reach it and the jar can live on a surface rather than in a drawer.
It holds about 7g. Our 4g Boveda packs are rated for up to 14g, so one of those in here has capacity to spare — which is the right way round, since a pack that is working within itself lasts longer.
It is machined to stack with the Large Stash Jar and the PAX Grinder.
