Who this is for: Venty owners who want one spare rather than three, or whose unit is past cleaning.
The cooling unit sits between the chamber and your mouth and takes the heat out of the vapour. Doing that, it collects the resin that would otherwise reach you — which is the part working as designed, not failing.
The practical case for a spare is time rather than wear. Cleaning means isopropyl and then waiting for it to dry, and the Venty unit comes apart into several pieces to do it properly. One spare turns that from "the device is out of action this evening" into "swap it".
If you use the device daily, the 3-pack works out cheaper per unit and means you are never down to your last clean one. If you use it occasionally, one spare is plenty.
This is the standard unit. There is also a stainless steel version, which holds its cool for longer into a session but takes longer to warm up.
