Who this is for: Venty owners who take long sessions and find the standard cooling unit warms through before they are finished.
Thermal mass is simply how much heat something can soak up before it gets hot itself. A heavier metal unit absorbs more, so the vapour reaching you stays cooler for longer. The trade-off is at the start: it takes longer to come up to temperature, so the first draw or two can feel different.
It is a comfort upgrade rather than a repair. If your draw has gone tight or tastes flat, that is screens and seals, not this.
